Zeal for our Creator & Redeemer

Zeal for our Creator & Redeemer

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

A Christian Zeal

Zeal in Christianity is a burning desire to please God, to do His will, and to advance His glory in the world in every possible way. It is a desire, which is not natural to men or women. It is a desire which the Spirit puts in the heart of every believer when they are converted to Christ.

This desire is so strong, when it really reigns in a person, that it impels them to make any sacrifice-to go through any trouble-to deny themselves anything-to suffer, to work, to labor, to toil, to spend themselves and be spent, and even to die-if only they can please God and honor Christ.

A zealous person in Christianity is preeminently a person of one thing. It is not enough to say that they are earnest, strong, uncompromising, meticulous, wholehearted, and fervent in spirit. They only see one thing, they care for one thing, they live for one thing, they are swallowed up in one thing; and that one thing is to please God.

What is our desire in this world ?

What is our desire in this world ?

Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires [Romans 8:5]. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. [Galatians 5:17]

Basic Information Before Leaving Earth

Basic Information Before Leaving Earth

(1) All are sinners (2) All people, without exception, are guilty (3) All stand condemned before God (4) All are under the penalty of spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God (5) All are helpless to wipe out their own guilt. *** The one and only savior of the entire human race is no one but Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son, who died and paid the penalty for our sins on the cross. Accept and Follow Him, before it is too late...

Seeking the honor and praises of men?

When you are invited to an event, do not take/seek the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been also invited to the same event. If so, the host who invited both of you will come to you and will say, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Humiliated, embarrassed and filled with shame, then you will have to take whatever seat is left.

Comparing our life to the Parable of Sower…

As described by Jesus, we will definitely fall into one of the four categories of people who are mentioned in the Parable of Sower. One way to cross check whether we are in the right path with our God or not is to check / compare ourselves with those people mentioned. The realization of being in which group will help us to rectify ourselves if we are not in the right path before it is too late.

Gateway of our Body

Jesus said: “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is bad, your body is filled with darkness. Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness”.

Only the eye provides all the visible information for the brain to process, visualize and imagine things, which is then transferred to every cell in the body. Our body cells are then driven by that imagination to lust, desire and do all sorts of sinful conduct.

The Judgment Day
Many people in the world do not believe that there is a "Day of Judgment". But the word of God clearly says that: "By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. [2 Peter 3:7]".

This verse clearly points out two things. Firstly, there is a "day of judgment". Secondly the destruction of ungodly men.

Zechariah 3:1-5

Saturday, January 28, 2012

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. The LORD said to Satan, 'The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?' Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. The angel said to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his filthy clothes.' Then he said to Joshua, 'See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.' Then I said, 'Put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood by. (the NIV Bible)

Witness for Christ

Being a witness

To what ? That is the first question that comes to our mind. Jesus Christ himself provides the answer. As revealed to Saul, later known as Paul, he said: "I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you". 1) Become a servant of the Lord 2) Become a witness to what we experienced about Christ in our lives and what He reveals about our purpose of being in this world.

Meaning of True Worship

In the modern world, Worship has become mere singing and full of physical emotions. Have you also caught up in the deception? Take a step back. Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the LORD.

Worshiping the mighty and ferocious Lord, our Creator has become a duty for most of us and not our soul's desire. Have you ever thought about what God really wants in our Praise and Worship. Follow these articles and find out the truth.

We will examine our true motives and intentions in the presence of the Lord as we continue to mediate our Lord Jesus Christ's word as captured in John 4:23-24: "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Come, together we will find out the truth from the holy scriptures, what our Father seeks in us.

Worshiping God

“The twenty-four elders fall prostrate before Him Who is sitting on the throne, and they worship Him Who lives forever and ever; and they throw down their crowns before the throne, crying out, “Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were brought into being and were created
